英文视角——If the world is absurd, whether you can still face up to all of this？(如果世界皆荒诞，你是否还能勇敢地面对这一切？）

The Truman Show is a 1998 American film directed by Peter Weir and starring Jim Carrey.The protagonist of the story, Truman, is the "protagonist" of a popular soap opera shot in close proximity. Everything and everyone around him are fake. Even his relatives are actors,only Truman is unaware of this and has lived in front of the camera for 30 years.Finally,Truman discovers the truth of "life is a play" and decides to tear the curtain of this false world and find his way in the real world.
《楚门的世界》是一部1998年上映的美国电影，由彼得·威尔指导，金·凯瑞主演。故事的主人公楚门，是一部密闭式拍摄的热门肥皂剧“主角”，他身边的所有人和事都是虚假的，连亲人都是演员，只有楚门一人浑然不知，在镜头前生活了30年。最后，楚门发现了“人生为戏”的真相，毅然决定撕开这个虚伪世界的帷幕，去真实世界里寻找自己的人生之路。
Harbor View Island, where Truman lived for 30 years, is "the largest studio in the world", a giant enclosed cage in which all of Truman's life has been enveloped. But to Truman, life seemed simple and beautiful. He always had a sincere, kind and warm heart. He would greet his neighbors with "good morning", "good afternoon" and "good night" every day. And deep down, Truman never gave up his childhood ambition of boldly exploring the world like Magellan.
楚门居住了30年的海景岛，是“世界上最大的摄影棚”，像一个巨大的封闭笼，把楚门所有的人生轨迹都笼罩在其中。但对于毫不知情的楚门而言，生活看起来简单而美好，他始终拥有一颗真诚，善良和热情的心，每天都会和邻居问候“早安”“午安”“晚安”。而且在内心深处，楚门从未放弃过儿时的愿望一像麦哲伦那样勇敢的去探索世界。
When he turns to his "father who came back from the dead" and finally discovers the truth,he doesn't settle for peace, but overcomes his fear of the sea and leaves Shutter Island alone in a boat.
当他借助“死而复生的父亲”并且最终发现事实的真相后，他并没有沉溺于安稳的现状，而是克服了自己对大海的恐惧，独自驾船出海，离开了这个“禁闭岛”。
No matter in the absurd situation, or in front of the completely unknown crossroads of life, Truman never give up passively, but always actively seek a way out to find his own life.As he looked in the mirror and said to himself, "Even if I break my leg, I will climb up that mountain." No one can control other people's lives, the last person to change life, are always ourselves.
无论是在荒谬的处境之下，还是在完全未知的人生十字路口前，楚门从未消极自弃，而是始终积极地寻求出路，找到真正属于自己的人生。就像他面对镜子，对自己说的那句话:“就算摔断腿，也要爬到山上去。”没有人可以操控其他人的人生，那个最后改变人生的人，永远都是我们自己。
The film not only expresses the encouragement to pursue self-life, but also reveals the reflection on social problems. There is no lack of reflection on "entertainment to death" and media flooding, as well as discussion on the moral principles of TV media. In the movie,Christopher, the director of the Truman Show, is a very complex character, who is full of a "powerful" father love for Truman. At the same time, he was called a "TV pioneer" by the off-camera world and bluntly criticized the current media society as"sick" and false. Therefore,he wanted to show a completely true record of life with the help of Truman.
不仅仅表达了对追求自我人生的鼓励，也透露出对于社会问题的思考。其中不乏对“娱乐至死”和媒介泛滥的反思，以及对电视媒体道德原则的讨论。电影中，《楚门秀》的导演克里斯托夫是个很复杂的人物，他对楚门充满了一种“强权式”的父爱。同时，他又被镜头外的世界称为“电视先锋”，直言指责当下的媒介社会是“病态”和虚假的，因此，想要借助楚门来展示一个完全真实的生活实录。
The director's original intention to save the false with the real is understandable, but the legitimacy of his behavior is questionable. To borrow the words of the Truman show actor: "There is no false here, it is only controlled by people." But "control" itself is worth rethinking. The power of media is certainly powerful, in the age of entertainment, we should think more about: how to use this power reasonably, truly serve the society.
这位导演想要以真实拯救虚假的初心，可以被理解，但他行为的合法性却值得商榷，借用楚门秀中演员说的话：“这里没有一点虛假，只不过是受人控制的。”但“控制”本身便值得人们反思。媒体的力量固然是强大的，在娱乐时代，更应该思考的是：如何才能合理地使用这股力量，真正服务于社会。
